Building a reputation



Among Brookgate’s most important projects is an exciting new city quarter in Cambridge called CB1 - a development that includes offices, major retailers and student accommodation. CB1 will also provide a transport interchange, attractive parks and community spaces. This desirable scheme has attracted both local and multinational businesses including Microsoft, which has chosen CB1 for its European headquarters.


Silk Pearce designed a visual identity and marketing campaign for CB1, and we were responsible for the strapline ‘see, be’, inspired by the letters in the postcode. We’ve created literature and a website, and designed site hoardings for landmark buildings which depict a shelf of books - a reminder of the city’s role in inspiring generations of famous Cambridge authors and scientists.
