Our lively website design for solicitors Thackray Williams, based in Bromley, Kent, is based on an engaging design to connect with the company’s audience – reflecting the solicitor’s friendly, personable and professional approach.

The highlight of the website design is the specially commissioned illustrations by Sarah McMenemy. Known for her uplifting and atmospheric style, Sarah has created striking illustrations of Bromley High Street, as well as family and business scenes.

The homepage features a slideshow depicting five different scenes, with further illustrations used throughout the site, including smaller images for the calls to action.

The appeal of the illustrations adds to the overall friendly approach and usability of the website that is aimed at three different audiences - individuals and families, businesses and specialist sectors.

Colour is used to help guide the user, making the site easy to navigate and defining each business sector. This is outlined in the refreshed logo that has been designed in four different colourways – yellow for the master identity, with orange, aqua and green for the business areas.

This colour coding is then followed through into other items, including the company’s new email newsletter that can be targeted at different audiences.

The new website also includes a library of information guides. These guides have been designed and structured in a format that is easy to read, with clear sections and headings – making the content easily digestible.

The ease of use continues with the responsive design that ensures every page can be viewed perfectly on tablets, smartphones and other devices.
