Brochure design for Aldeburgh hotel – it’s Wentworth it!

Brochure design for The Wentworth Hotel

Our picture postcard sized design for The Wentworth Hotel in the Suffolk coastal town of Aldeburgh, combines the traditional values of the established family-run hotel with the elegant and contemporary interior. The sophisticated, gate-fold brochure, includes a carefully chosen selection of imagery that depicts the uniqueness of the location and the fine touches that are so important to the ethos of the business.

100% Nice

These beautiful books we’ve designed for the Norfolk & Norwich Festival 2012 production ’100% Norfolk’ have just arrived in the studio fresh from the printers. They smell lovely too (or is that just us?!).

Lebanon Loves Cool Dingbats

Dingbats designs by Silk Pearce

Well, we knew they were going to be big, but not this big! These rather large billboards we’ve designed
for our client Dingbats Notebooks, have just gone up around Beirut, Lebanon. We think they’re going
to be massive (the notebooks that is).

Open for business – in Ireland!

GR Blog 3

Gail Russell, one of our Creative Directors, has now set up a permanent base in, Lismore, Ireland from which we aim to grow the business. Initially driven by Gail’s desire to go ‘home’ – her family are from Fermoy and the surrounding area – we see this as a major opportunity to offer Irish businesses quality branding and design serviced in the locality, but backed up by colleagues in the UK.

LPO: Music to our eyes

How to capture the colourful sounds of the London Philharmonic, the Philharmonia Orchestra, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and London Sinfonietta was the question posed by SouthBank at the start of the 2009/10 orchestral season. And as so often, the clue was in the question: Colour. We commissioned artist Andrew Foster to come up with the expressive images. We are thrilled that they have taken their place on huge hoardings on the Southbank. London Eye candy, perhaps?

The Italian job

Favini, the Italian paper manufacturer will be launching several new brands at the international exhibition, LUXEPAC, to be held in Monaco later this month. We are proud to have rebranded this long established company and can’t wait for the launch of the new papers and, of course, the brochures and swatches to go with them.

One of the brochures features this scarf, worn by our own Sara which uses the colour bar from printed sheets.

Continuing on the sartorial note, we are thrilled to have hooked up with David Downton for another of the Favini brochures. David’s reputation amongst the world’s couture houses is second to none. Whilst preparing our images, David was working on a special portrait of Kate Blanchett!
